Family Photo Shoot in Hamburg

Family Photo Shoot in Hamburg
One of the things i like the most about my work is the possibility to not have any control sometimes and just let things happen. Therefore, on this beautiful mother’s day, i would like to share with you an amazing Family Photo Shoot in Hamburg with mama Lisa and her little Johann. The place couldn’t be more perfect: a yellow field with beautiful a spring light. But Johann was a bit tired and not really in the mood for photos.

After a few first shots with the little one, we came to the conclusion that we should just walk around and make things a bit more relaxed for Johann. Then here comes the magic that only moms can do: Lisa brought to the photo session an old wooden car. She sat Johann in the car and started to pull him while we talked.

Suddenly, we noticed that he was kind of liking that thing. Then we stopped for a while and he decided to get out of the car and play around. After that, things started to get super funny and our little man was ready for a few shots with his mama 🙂

While i was reviewing the photos, one thing came to my mind: this is REAL MOM’S LIFE. I just couldn’t ignore the story that happened in front of my camera before the smiling shots in the end. Things don’t always go the way we want when it comes to kids, but mothers always go beyond to make everything be fine in the end. Hopefully in the future we will see the hardest and most important work of all being recognized as it should be. Nevertheless, moms will always be these amazing human beings who translate the essence of love through their actions. Mother’s day is everyday.

“A mother’s love is everything. It is what brings a child into this world. It is what molds their entire being. When a mother sees her child in danger, she is literally capable of anything. Mothers have lifted cars off of their children, and destroyed entire dynasties. A mother’s love is the strongest energy known to man.” —Jamie McGuire
